Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America 2016 Collaboration

Beer Camp Across America Kicks Off

Beer Camp is Sierra Nevada’s celebration of brewing industry unity. It invites collaborations across the country that result in six festivals and six new beers.

This year’s events will occur in Tampa, Florida (June 4); Seattle (June 11); Milwaukee (June 11); San Francisco (June 18); Boston (June 18); and Los Angeles (June 25). General admission is $50 and includes hundreds of beer samples, a commemorative tasting glass and live entertainment.

The new beers were made in collaboration with the likes of August Schell Brewing Co., Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Odell Brewing Co., Wicked Weed Brewing, Creature Comforts Brewing Co., Port Brewing Co., Bear Republic Brewing Co. and Perennial Artisan Ales. They include an imperial brown ale, an imperial session IPA, a robust stout, a Southern table beer, a rye pale ale and a session rye beer. Beers were made available in variety 12-packs of 12-ounce bottles in May.

Editor’s Note: In the printed version of this story in the July 2016 issue of All About Beer Magazine, Surly Brewing Co. was erroneously listed as a contributor in the Beer Camp Across America collaboration.
