(New Orleans, LA) – New Orleans bars and restaurants are welcoming an influx of craft beer lovers from across Louisiana and Texas this week as Saint Arnold on Tour descends upon the Crescent City. Saint Arnold Brewing Company (www.saintarnold.com), the oldest craft brewery in Texas, has been hitting the road throughout the spring and will stop in New Orleans for a series of events, dubbed “New Orleans Super Weekend,” May 18-20.

Upset Hindus have urged Portland-based Burnside Brewing Company not to release its “Kali-Ma” beer proposed for May 15, calling it inappropriate. Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that inappropriate usage of Hindu deities or concepts or symbols for commercial or other agenda was not okay as it hurt the devotees.
