Framboise is a classic among the Belgian beers, created by adding whole fresh raspberries to a blend of young and old lambic. Framboise Oud Beersel is the missing link between beer and wine and is served chilled in wine glasses.

Oud Beersel is an iconic brewer of lambic and gueuze. It went of out business for domestic reasons in 2002 but reopened in 2005, with the beers being temporarily brewed at the Frank Boon Brewery. Framboise is one of the two genuine fruit lambics, made with the addition of raspberries and cherries, known respectively as framboise and kriek. Oud Beersel Framboise has a luscious deep pink color and a massive aroma of sour fruit. Sour fruit dominates the palate while the long and quenching finish is complex: dry but with sweet and sour hints. Superb! Welcome back to the fold.

With a fast-talking head, grand burgundy color and wonderful lambic aromatics by Frank Boon, this beer is delicious…flaunting its impressive sweet-sour palate, and backed by considerable come-hitherness. Irresistible.
