  • Charles Finkel

Pretty in pink! Brewed by Huyghe, a creative family-owned brewery that produces a very wide variety of styles, including mint, chocolate and passion fruit, in addition to their famous Delirium Tremens, in Melle, near Gent, Belgium. No mistaking the aroma—a bouquet of slightly overripe strawberries. Quite sugary on the palate with lingering sweetness in the finish; this is not the beer to accompany a meal, but it could be, well chilled, an accompaniment to fresh strawberry shortcake on a hot summer day.

  • Jason and Tod Alstrøm

Muddled bloody peach with a slight pink foam. Smells like a cross between one of those old-school wax bottle candies with the sugary artificial fruit juice inside and a strawberry Starburst. Tastes like a creamy strawberry-banana smoothy, but carbonated. Slight bitterness. From the orange peel and coriander? Hard to tell. The fruit flavors are extremely dominating and subsequently over-shadow the fact this is a beer. Comes across as more of a pre-mixed beer mimosa.
