Cascade and English Goldings give the beer a mighty and appealing hop character—both fruity and peppery. It has a gorgeous bronze/gold color with a massive aroma of spicy hops, rich biscuity malt and tangerine fruit. Tangy fruit and bitter hop resins dominate the palate, with a long and quenching finish that has peppery hops and tart fruit to the fore but based on a good solid, juicy maltiness. I'll keep this one in my quiver...

The beer pours with a bright honey-gold color and a wonderfully fluffy foam. The nose is interesting—malt, honey, bread, hay-like hops, and apricots. The palate is bone-dry and minerally, with a husky grain flavor and a hint of spicy fruit. The finish is short and snappy, with grain lingering. An interesting pale ale with a unusual structure—few signs of caramel, for example. Try it with a full helping of Buffalo wings. Yes, with all the trimmings.
