Saboteur – described as a Brett Barrel Brown Ale by Odell Brewing Co. – pours burgundy with a thick brown head. Sweet for a brown ale (the sweetness brought forth by the Brettanomyces). Aged in oak barrels and then bottle conditioned. One taster suggested notes of apricot. Not overly intimidating to some new staff members for a so-called sour beer. Nicely balanced. A fabulous food beer.
