Beerdrinker of the Year crowned at Wynkoop Brewing

Wynkoop Brewing‘s Marty Jones has gleefully announced the winner of Beerdrinker of the Year for 2010 and his name is Bill Howell. Howell has been a lover of craft beer since 1984 and a homebrewer since 1989. A former officer of the US Navy, Howell has been spreading the gospel of beer through newspaper columns, his blog and teaching his class The Art & History of Brewing at the local college. The downside is that local for Bill is Sterling, Alaska, not Denver, Colorado – where he now has free beer for life at Wynkoop.

Fortunately for Bill, there’s no shortage of good beer in Alaska…
