Chicago-area brewers Half Acre, Off Color, Goose Island, Solemn Oath and more.

WHAT:   

…squaring off in a one-of-a-kind charity event to benefit ZERO, a national nonprofit organization with the mission to end prostate cancer. The tournament will feature local breweries competing against one another in an elimination bocce ball tournament. In addition to participating in the event, each brewery will also be bringing a special half-keg of beer that will be tapped during the event, with pints going for $3.

Tickets for the event are $5 a person and include admission as well as a ticket for one beer. Tickets can be purchased through EventBrite.

WHY:   

Founded in 1996, ZERO’s mission is to end prostate cancer, while aiming to save lives and stop pain and suffering by advancing research, encouraging action, and providing education and support to men and their families. The event is the brainchild of Chris Soukup, Director of Operations at Pinstripes, Inc, and Dale Schwartz, founder of Pinstripes, who sought to create a unique and engaging event to help raise money and awareness for the foundation after their personal live were effected by prostate cancer.
