(Bend, OR) – Deschutes Brewery is happy to announce that has expanded distribution in South Dakota to the western portion of the state, encompassing areas such as Rapid City and Chamberlain. The brewery will be working with local distributors, Eagle Sales in Chamberlain and Eagle Sales of the Black Hills, Inc., to bring its beers to the region. Initially, fans will find brands such as Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter, Inversion IPA and Red Chair Northwest Pale Ale, recently voted the World’s Best Beer at the 2012 World Beer Awards.

Eagle Sales of Black Hills, which is headquartered in Rapid City, has a portfolio made up of craft and imported beers. The first beers will be available in six-pack bottles and on draft. Deschutes Brewery, which recently added five new 1,300 barrel fermentation tanks to increase capacity at its Oregon brewing headquarters, is also expanding to the state of Illinois early this month.
