(BIGFORK, MT) – Flathead Lake Brewing Co. (“FLBC”) will soon have a new home. The brewery, currently located in Woods Bay, will move into the old North Shore Bowling Alley building in Bigfork at Holt Drive & HWY 35. The space is currently vacant and will undergo a remodel before the brewery moves in. Initial plans are underway with the goal of an opening in the second or third quarter of 2013. The brewery will remain open and operating in Woods Bay for at least another year.

“We’re happy that Montanans love our beer” says Flathead Lake Brewing Co. owner Greg Johnston, “and we’re happy to stay on this side of the lake, we love it here, this is home.”

FLBC has been brewing beer in Bigfork since 2004 and under Head Brewer Tim Jacoby’s direction has grown in volume, quality and popularity, serving not only Bigfork but numerous markets statewide.

“…We’re just bursting at the seams and ready to meet demand for our product in a beautiful new facility,” says Nate Willette, Flathead’s Director of Sales. “This move is going to be great for us and for Bigfork.”

Willette adds that the expansion will allow lots of space for Tim to craft special edition ales which are always very popular with FLBC’s regular crowd in Bigfork as well as at the Flathead Pub in Missoula which serves the full line of FLBC beer along with other Montana notables.

Flathead Lake Brewing Co. is a small craft brewery in Bigfork, MT. They are currently distributed by FUN Beverage in Kalispell, MT and Summit Beverage in Missoula, MT.
