WILMINGTON, DE – On Saturday, October 27, the region’s fastest-growing collection of brewpubs, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, will debut their new King of the Hill rewards club.  This companywide program offers rewards and exclusive perks to lovers of both the restaurant’s passions: great beer and great food.

King of the Hill membership will include:  Lower Membership Price of just $25 for new and renewing members;  More Ways to Earn Points, including points for both visits and purchases;  Faster Rewards such as $25 for every 250 points accumulated;  Companion Cards, the option to link a second rewards card to an existing account;  Free Gifts for members on their birthdays;  Signature Handmade Mugs for use in all Iron Hill locations;  Invitations to Club-Only Events such as tastings and parties;  Direct Contact via email with head brewers;  and Online Point Tracking and member profile to further customize the experience.

Changes to the Iron Hill rewards club program were initiated after the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) found that the company’s long-standing Mug Club was not in compliance with their regulations.  Iron Hill worked hand-in-hand with the PLCB to make sure the new King of the Hill program met their rules and then decided to implement it in all nine of their locations which include restaurants in Delaware and New Jersey.

“Rewarding our loyal guests with great perks is one of our favorite parts of being in this business,” says Iron Hill President Kevin Finn.  “This is a more comprehensive program with most of the rewards of the previous membership program, plus a host of new features.”

Founded by home brewers Mark Edelson and Kevin Finn and restaurateur Kevin Davies in Newark, DE in 1996, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has blossomed from one restaurant and brewery to nine.  King of the Hill rewards will be valid at all of Iron Hill’s locations across the mid-Atlantic region:  Newark, DE (147 East Main Street, 302-266-9000);  Wilmington, DE (710 South Madison Street, 302-472-2739);  Media, PA (30 East State Street, 610-627-9000);  West Chester, PA (3 West Gay Street, 610-738-9600);  North Wales, PA (1460 Bethlehem Pike, 267-708-2000);  Phoenixville, PA (130 East Bridge Street, 610-983-9333);  Lancaster, PA (781 Harrisburg Pike, 717-291-9800);  Maple Shade, NJ (124 East Kings Highway, 856-273-0300);  and Chestnut Hill, PA (8400 Germantown Avenue, 215-948-5600).  A tenth location, in Voorhees, NJ is scheduled to open in 2013.  Each location is dedicated to producing and serving top-quality hand-crafted beers and cuisine in a warm and hospitable setting, and all are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
