(Novato, CA) -Moylan’s Brewery & Restaurant is headed to the outback and is ready to conquer Oz!  In 2011 at the 19th Annual Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA), the brewery was awarded the Trophy for CHAMPION EXHIBITOR BREWERY for the Highest Scoring Exhibitor and the Cleanevent Trophy for CHAMPION SMALL BREWERY. “I’m ready to rock Australia!” says owner Brendan Moylan, who will be accompanying Brewmaster Denise Jones to the 2012 Melbourne Good Beer Week.

Among the multiple activities in which Moylan’s Brewery & Restaurant will be participating, one garnering the most “buzz” is a collaboration brew effort between Moylan’s Brewery and 2010 AIBA champs Nøgne Ø’s with Brewmaster Kjetil Jikiun to create the inaugural beer for Good Beer Week during the sold-out Masterclass of Champions. This is the first collaboration effort in Moylan’s 17 year history and it will have beer lovers the world over clamoring for a taste.

Moylan’s Brewery participating in 2012 Good Beer Week will culminate at the awards presentation dinner at the The Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday, May 17th. Celebrating its 20th year, the AIBA has grown in stature to become one of the most highly regarded awards in its industry, attracting a remarkable number of high quality and innovative beers from Australian and international breweries.

Moylan’s Brewery & Restaurant opened in 1995, and it’s fine ales can be found in 35 states, 2 U.S. territories and 4 foreign countries
