(Press Release)

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C.—On Saturday, March 19, Mystery Brewing Company will release its spring line-up of beers with a celebration at the Mystery Brewing Public House.

The spring line-up consists of four beers. Locksley, an ordinary bitter, is a refreshing and sessionable ale. Queen Anne’s Revenge, a Carolinian dark ale, blends a hoppy character with a touch of roast reminiscent of black IPAs. Beatrix, a spring saison, is a crisp, citrusy farmhouse ale perfect for spring. Jack Thorne, a London porter, is a classic English-style porter that will satisfy any dark beer drinker. In addition, the brewery will release St. Stephen’s Green, a dry Irish stout, on March 17th, and the beer will be available at the Saturday release.

“As a seasonal-only brewery,” Founder Erik Lars Myers said, “We believe that people’s tastes change with the seasons. These beers are our nod to the rebirth and growth of spring.”

Award-winning, Raleigh-based Jack the Radio will be performing at 8:30. Jack the Radio is an indie-rock band with a bluesy, garage-band sound. They have shared the stage with the likes of Cold War Kids and Hall & Oates. Lost Boys food truck will be serving food, as well. The party begins when the pub at 230 Nash St opens at noon and goes until close.
