(Press Release)

FORT COLLINS, CO—On November 23, 2013, Odell Brewing will celebrate the return of Friek, the brewery’s beloved Lambic-style Kriek-Framboise hybrid. Now in its fourth season, Friek has become one of the brewery’s most highly anticipated releases.

Brewed with Colorado grown cherries and aged in oak barrels for months, Friek is blended with fresh raspberries just prior to packaging. The subtle raspberry sweetness balances the cherry tartness. A crisp and bubbly body creates a delicate and refreshing finish.

“This time of year is the perfect season for Friek,” said Tap Room manager, Kailey Schumacher. “It pairs so well with many holiday dishes and adds unique character to traditional recipes when cooking with it.”

Odell Brewing will celebrate the return of Friek in the brewery’s Tap Room on November 23rd and 24th. Guests can enjoy samples of the beer and food truck pairings by The Common Link all weekend long, as well as special live music by Ginger Whale on Sunday, Nov. 24th. Friek will be available in 750 ml cork and cage finished bottles throughout the brewery’s ten state distribution footprint.
