The Lost Abbey‘s Red Poppy Ale won gold at the Eighth Annual Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer. The beer, a Flanders style red ale, is produced with sour cherries and aged in French oak barrels for a year. Held in November, the Festival is the oldest and largest festival in the world to feature only beers aged in or on wood. For more details, go here.
