The staff at All About Beer Magazine sat around the conference table the other day for a group tasting of the new offerings from the 2010 Samuel Adams LongShot series. The following is a collective review of the Lemon Pepper Saison.

Brewed by Samuel Adams employee Jeremy White, this beer pours straw in color and had a light head that quickly dissipated. It had a citrusy nose and a peppery mouthfeel and finished dry and tarty. It smelled deceptively Belgian yet the flavor produced didn’t scream out “Belgian.” An extremely inspired, well-balanced beer.
