The beer pours a sunset orange color with little-to-no head. Funk and citric astringency lead the aroma, removing all doubt that this wild ale will not have sour characteristics.

Love Child No. 2 strikes the taste buds with acidic fruits and a slight note of white wine. As the beer warms, a port sweetness begins to emerge that brings about dark cherries. The citrus fruits never leave, however, and remain dominant in the finish without the heat that a typical 9.6 percent ABV beer holds. Boulevard crafted this complex wild ale by blending beers over two years in wine, oak and port barrels.

Love Child No. 2 was bottled in 16,800 750-ml bottles, and they are available in Boulevard’s distribution area.
