Neat name, even better beer. Gorgeous deep amber with golden highlights topped by a mountain of foam, leaving a delicate lace pattern on the glass as it slowly dissipates. The nose, like freshly harvested hops, seduces the olfactory senses. Big, rich and malty; coats the palate playing yin and yang with Humulus lupulus. A sensuous beer, fruity at first and finishing dry, with a pleasant, not bitter aftertaste. Ideal IPA for a picnic of crusty fresh olive bread, creamy Oregonzola blue cheese and thinly sliced mortadella, finished with dried figs and sultana raisins.

Amber brew and froth pours forth from a can. It’s delirious with hop aroma and flavor. There is no struggle twixt malt and hops — hops win. Earthy, fruity hop aromas, flavors and aftertaste. Grabs your ’hood. Prepare for the long haul. This is a powerful and memorable IPA that conspires to engage your enthusiasm. Not for malt-accented preferences. Great choice for IPA hopheads and aficionados.
