Classified as an imperial red slash double IPA, this beer pours a deep copper with a nice foamy head that dissipated quickly. A citrusy hop nose greets your face as you sip and follows through (as expected) with a grapefruit-meets-pine blast to the tongue; you want sticky resin, you got it. I consumed this beer at room temperature in a snifter glass because patience isn’t a virtue I possess in spades. I didn’t care to wait for it to get cold. Carbonation is at a minimum (if at all) and despite the DIPA status the ABV is understated. Oskar BluesGordon Ale is a very quaffable beer. Good thing it only comes canned in 4-packs. As the label claims, this is a nice can ‘o bliss that’ll satisfy ya.
