At first whiff you’re forgiven if “INDIA PALE ALE!” immediately flashes in your mind’s eye. Because it’s not just the aroma, but the hazy burnt orange color and thick lacing along the glass that is characteristic of hop-forward beers. But, there is a pils in there. A grassy, almost hay-like note comes though and compliments the floral hop aroma. There is a fresh crispness that pokes through and a slight sweet and dry finish. Part of the brewery’s Adventures in Lager series, this is a sipper, not a slammer.
