Colorado coming at you big and strong in this beer from Left Hand—fresh, local hop notes greet your nose in a very grassy way if you get my drift, yet the mouthfeel is decidedly mild and doesn’t pack the viscosity that some highly hopped IPAs do at times.

I’m getting some sort of candy corn taste coming through on the back end probably due to the malted barley and wheat. Sweetness, if you will, that goes against that grassy nose. My tongue is telling me I probably need to taste this one on draft because the bottle is deceiving me at the moment. I will return to this one soon.
