All Colorado Beer Fest

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Since its inception, this festival has donated $315,000 to local nonprofits, with a goal of raising $100,000 at this year’s 10th anniversary. The event celebrates the best of Colorado’s beer offerings, and, on top of as many 2-ounce tastings as one can “responsibly consume,” it will feature a beer judging, merchandise and food.

Holiday Ale Festival

Portland, Oregon

This now-21-year-old festival will feature over 50 winter ales that have either been crafted specifically for the event or are rare vintages. Though it takes place outside in Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square, a large clear-topped tent with views of the city’s lights, gas heaters and one of the largest decorated Christmas trees in the area make this a cozy venue to celebrate beers meant for the fireside.

RELEASES

Narragansett Beer

Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout

5.3 % | Milk Stout w/ Coffee

Made in collaboration with Rhode Island’s Autocrat Coffee, this beer in Narragansett’s “Hi Neighbor” mash-up series calls to mind one of the Ocean State’s favorite beverages: coffee milk. Lactose and malty sweetness round out a dark, rich, roasty and chocolaty backbone. Available in 6-packs of 16-ounce cans and on draft.

Barrel of Monks Brewing

Father Christmas

10 % | Belgian-Style Strong Dark Ale w/ Spices

Though only those on-site for Barrel of Monks’ Florida release of this beer on Nov. 12 will get to see Father Christmas himself, this limited-release beer is reminiscent of other sweet and spicy Belgian holiday ales from the likes of St. Bernardus and Corsendonk. Available in 750-mL bottles.
