Turbid robe is more golden than pale. Inviting nose is resinous and herbal—very nice! Rich, round malty flavors prevail and are beautifully balanced with sweet, floral, nonbitter hops, coating the palate with delicious complexity and inviting food to accompany the beer. I had no problem in finishing a bottle with pasta e fagioli, with extra-virgin olive oil, Parmigiano Reggiano and red pepper flakes. I craved for more—both beer and pasta—when the meal was finished.

This pale golden ale is a friend indeed when in need of comfort, laid-back drinkability and the full authentic flavor of a classic American pale ale. Reassuring and happy aroma of American hops, quenching hop/malt balance and body. A perfect starter to a great meal with the welcoming option to continue through any part of your day. I can’t help but think of a good cheddar or pecorino/sheep cheese offering complementary satisfaction interwoven with this excellent pale ale.
