(Press Release)

ASHLAND, MA—Eurobrew Inc. has partnered with Thatchers to bring Green Goblin Cider to the United States. As one of the best cider producers in the world, Thatchers has been in business since 1904, creating excellent ciders from its orchards in Somerset, England. As a result of their success, the company has won many awards for its quality of business, including the 2010 HSBC Business Thinking Award for prestigious business initiative.

Thatchers Green Goblin Cider (6.0%) is a Golden amber color with aromas of dried apples and nougat. According to the Beverage Tasting Institute, the cider has a crisp light-to-medium body with a honeyed apple granita, starfruit, nutshell and mineral nuanced finish. On the outside, the bottles have a jubilant muscular goblin mascot. On the inside is a full-flavored cider made from Dabinett and Somerset Redstreak English apples matured in one hundred year oak vats.

The flavors in Green Goblin Cider will pleasantly satisfy the palate and the drink has proven to be a favorite at tasting events since its introduction to the United States this fall. The cider is the winner of multiple awards for its flavor, including the Silver Medal by the Beverage Tasting Institute and the honor of Best Imported Cider at the 2012 Australian Beer & Brewer Awards. This past October, Green Goblin Cider was also featured on NBC’s Kathie Lee and Hoda Show with the renowned Food & Wine editor Ray Isle for its remarkable taste.

Green Goblin Cider is now available in the U.S. and is imported by Eurobrew, Inc. of Ashland, MA. For more information about Eurobrew and a complete listing of all their imported brands and participating retailers, visit www.eurobrews.com.
