(Boulder, CO) – The Twisted tradition continues with the fifth release in the brewery’s Artisan Ale Series, as fans prepare for the May 5th launch of Big Easy Offbeat Brown, a highly imaginative ale with a wild streak of flavor.

The American-style brown ale, suffused with wasabi, horseradish and ginger roots, packs a wacky punch as the ingredients mix and mingle in the nose and on the tongue. As with previous, offbeat Twisted Pine beers (with the arguable exception of Ghost Face Killah), balance was the brewers’ first priority and Big Easy juggles the dynamic aromas and tastes in remarkable fashion.

The eccentric ale weighs in at 7.8% ABV and 36 IBU.

The release party for Big Easy Offbeat Brown will be held at the Twisted Pine ale house on Saturday, May 5th from noon to 9pm. Featured artist, Perry Bergman, will display works from his collection, which will hang in the ale house until June’s Black Swan Saison release. Bergman’s piece, “Red Hat Jazz”, adorns the label for Big Easy and the artist will be on hand throughout the afternoon, signing bottles for customers’ collections.
