Mill Street Brewery has announced that the brewery has been selected by Wahlburgers Toronto as the official brewer of “Wahlbrewski North” pale ale, the flagship beer of Toronto’s newest burger restaurant.
The brew will be available at Wahlburgers Toronto, which celebrates their grand opening November 15th, 2014 in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District, at 46 Blue Jays Way in the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel.
The Wahlbrewski North pale ale made by Mill Street Brewery is the first official Canadian Wahlbrewski and supports Wahlburgher’s emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and food purveyors.
The Wahlbrewski North is a 6.1% copper colored pale ale with a slightly roasted note and big hop bitterness and flavour that pairs beautifully with your favourite Wahlburger.
Brewmaster Joel Manning stated “I think this beer sums up what English IPA’s should be–very drinkable and satisfying with a crisp bitterness that isn’t overpowering.”
Toronto is the second Wahlburgers location to open, the first being the original Wahlburgers restaurant in Hingham, MA.
The restaurant will be open Sunday through Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. to midnight and Thursday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.
