As of December 14th, Odell Brewing began shipping this year’s batch of Saboteur Brett Barrel Brown Ale, a classic brown ale aged in oak barrels with Brettanomyces. Saboteur is part of the brewery’s Single Serve Series of beers.

“Brewed on a big chocolaty brown ale base, Saboteur was aged with a clean and fruity strain of Brettanomyces in oak to give it nice vanilla and brown sugar layers,” said Zach Turner, quality assurance manager for Odell Brewing. “This beer ages beautifully as the culture continues to yield more tartness and fruit.”
Saboteur is offered in 750ml Belgian style cork and cage finished bottles and will be available in the brewery’s ten state distribution region beginning in late December 2011 or early January 2012.
