DENVER (Dec. 20, 2022)— The Colorado Brewers Guild (CBG), a nonprofit trade organization for independent craft breweries in the State of Craft Beer, proudly announces the return of Colorado Pint Day on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. This statewide event, which has reached cult-level status over the years, is a time-honored tradition where craft beer lovers head over to participating member breweries selling limited-edition Colorado Pint Day glassware. $1 of each pint glass sold will be donated to the Colorado Brewers Guild.

Colorado Pint Day launched in 2016 starting with a simple pint glass showcasing the State of Craft Beer logo. Since then, the Guild has highlighted varying themes and local artists over the years.

Like last year, the CBG hosted a statewide competition among member brewery creatives to select this year’s featured artist. Anna Long, a repeat winner, provided the winning design that celebrates the great Colorado road trip.

“This hand-drawn design was created with friendship, playfulness, and adventure at the forefront. I think most can agree that road trips are meant to be enjoyed with those you love, and there’s really no better way to see just how diverse Colorado is than through a car window (or a convertible!) on an open road,” says Anna Long, CEO of Norlo Design. “I illustrated the expressive ‘Pint Glass People’ as a playful way to portray and represent the excitement and just pure fun that comes along with a new adventure while carrying the craft beer theme throughout. I wanted all aspects of Colorado to be represented from the natural wonders to the people within its borders, and I want everyone who looks at this design to smile and see themselves within it.”

Last year 190 Colorado craft breweries participated in Colorado Pint Day, selling over 25,000 glasses. The beloved fundraiser is a great way to support local, independent craft beer and the CBG’s mission of promoting, protecting, and propelling its members through advocacy, education, and public awareness.

“Pint Day is a great way for our member breweries to engage Colorado craft beer lovers in a unique way,” says CBG Events and Marketing Manager Michelle Baldwin. “Over the years Pint Day glasses have become a collectors item and fans line up outside their favorite brewery to be the first to purchase theirs. Many breweries report that it is their busiest Wednesday of the year. The event has grown to be one of our largest fundraisers, and a way to spread awareness of the Guild and how we support our members.”

The list of participating breweries for Colorado Pint Day will be announced at a later time. For more information about Colorado Pint Day, contact Chea Franz at Chea@IndieCreativeCo.com.
