In the latest After Two Beers podcast, our editor John Holl takes time out of the Big Beers, Belgians & Barleywines festival to sit down with Phil Markowski, master brewer at Two Roads Brewing Co. in Stratford, Connecticut.

A veteran of the industry for almost 30 years, Markowski served as brewmaster at Southampton Publick House and is the author of “Farmhouse Ales: Culture and Craftsmanship in the Belgian Tradition.”

In this podcast, he talks about how he defines a saison, the difference between selling beer now and in the past, and what he expects to see from the beer industry in the future.
