Writers for All About Beer Magazine and AllAboutBeer.com claimed four awards this past Saturday, September 26, when the North American Guild of Beer Writers (NAGBW) announced the winners of its third annual competition for writers, bloggers, broadcasters and authors at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver.

Winning writers for All About Beer Magazine include Jeff Cioletti (gold in the Best Food Writing category for Feeding Frenzy), Joe Stange (silver in the Best Travel Writing category for Smoke and Shadow: Exploring Lager’s Roots Around Bamberg), Jeff Alworth (bronze in the Best Blog category for The Beer Bible Blog), and Brian Yaeger (bronze in the Best Humor/Editorial Writing category for IPA Spinoffs: The Rise of the India Silly Ale).

“We’re grateful to the judges for recognizing the talent of All About Beer Magazine’s writers,” said editor John Holl. “For 35 years All About Beer Magazine has continually strived to offer readers the best in beer-related information, and this year we are proud that our editorial, food, travel, and web content was well received and generously awarded. Now, it’s back to work.”

This is the third year in a row that an article from All About Beer Magazine has received a gold medal for the Best Food Writing category (John Holl won last year for Roast Masters: Exploring the Art of Brewing Beer with Coffee, and Ken Weaver won in 2013 for Genesis of a Beer Dinner). All About Beer Magazine has received seven awards over the last two years, more than any other beer publication.

Congratulations to all the other award-winning writers as well, many of whom have also written for All About Beer Magazine and AllAboutBeer.com.
