(Press Release)
SAN ANTONIO, Texas—When the calendar in the Alamo City turns to the month of March it can only mean one thing- its festival season! For San Antonian’s it also means that Fiesta is around the corner. To commemorate these home-grown festivities Alamo Beer Company released its new seasonal, Fiestaval. The Belgian White Ale, also known as a Witbier, will be available in a bottle or draft at retailers, bars and restaurants in Texas through April.
Fiestaval is brewed with malted wheat, ground coriander, bitter orange peel and rolled oats that provides beer drinkers a pleasant balance of citrus and spicy flavors. The refreshing beer is light in body and moderate in alcohol content with an ABV of 4.5%.
“San Antonio from March to April is full of festivals and we thought it would be great to create a beer that paired with our city’s appetite for outdoor parties,” said Eugene Simor, founder and President of Alamo Beer Company. “Fiestaval is a nice springtime beer that’s easy to drink and has a great flavor,” concluded Simor.
Fiestaval is the second bottled seasonal beer to be released by Alamo. The first one, ALAMO Holiday IPA, was well received by fans when it hit the market at the end of 2015. Located in east downtown San Antonio, Alamo brewery produces seasonals and four core beers: ALAMO Amber Lager, Pilsner, German Style Pale Ale and Golden Ale. The company plans on releasing additional beer styles to the public, with a Maibock slated to come out in May.
