About Jeff Lebesch

Jeff Lebesch is the founder and former owner of the New Belgium Brewing Company, one of America’s leading craft breweries.  An electrical engineer by training, Jeff’s passion for Belgian beer inspired him to launch New Belgium out of a self-engineered basement brewery in 1991.  Since retiring from the brewing business in 2009, he has pursued other passions of mountain biking, alpine trekking, ocean sailing, and most recently written a book about the origins and early years of the New Belgium Brewing Company.
