“I always like to understand what makes people think the way they do about making a beer instead of just how they’re making the beer,” says Tyers. “Because I think you learn a lot from studying how people think about making beer. And that’s certainly what I did.
When I was trying to learn how to make different styles of beer, I would just do deep dive case studies and research everything I possibly could about a brewer and everything they said in every interview, to figure out how they’re thinking about making beer. And that’s really kind of where I got. And now here I am. 10 years later, at Creature Comforts, doing the thing.”
