Asheville, NC (Oct. 15, 2026) Thunderstruck strikes again! Highland Brewing’s Thunderstruck Coffee Porter (5.8% ABV) returns to markets across the Southeast in late October, in cans for the first time. Previously available in bottles, the longtime seasonal favorite will be available in six-packs of 12 oz. cans and on draft across Highland Brewing’s four-state distribution footprint in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia.

Asheville’s original craft brewery worked with local coffee roaster Dynamite Roasting Co. to bring back the limited-time favorite. Thunderstruck presents big, booming coffee aroma and flavor with subtle spice and fruit notes. The porter is brewed with 1.5 pounds of Dynamite Roasting coffee per barrel to impart its distinctive coffee character.

“This year’s seasonal calendar has centered around bringing back beloved favorites like Thunderstruck Coffee Porter,” said Commercial Director of Highland Brewing, Jared Turbyfill. “It’s a nostalgic approach that allows us to connect with long-time fans and celebrate our very flavorful craft beer legacy here at Highland.”
