Helms is the owner/ brewer at Troon in Hopewell, NJ. Alex spent his early 20s traveling the country and working as a line cook before deciding to move back to New Jersey and start a brewery in 2015. Nine years later, and still occupying the original space in a renovated barn, he could not be happier with his decision. Troon’s focus is on hoppy ales, but no style is off-limits as long as it’s fun to drink.
