Global sportswear pioneer Umbro has teamed up with Maine’s own Allagash Brewing Company, the award-winning craft brewery founded in 1995, to launch a limited-edition vintage-inspired jersey. The collaborative effort blends Umbro’s deep soccer legacy with Allagash’s commitment to craft beer ingenuity.
The “Deep Currents” jersey features a bold, clean design layered with thoughtful details that honor both brands’ histories.
- The jersey’s overall design is inspired by the Umbro 90s-era.
- Flowing lines represent the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, the river system in Maine that Allagash Brewing is named after.
- The Allagash “Team Crest” on the chest of the jersey draws from the shape of the Allagash tap handle, and contains their signature river and Allagash “A.”
- Three stars above the crest represent the gold medals Allagash White has won at the World Beer Cup, an homage to the tradition of stars in global football.
- The nape features Allagash tagline “From Maine, With Love”
- On the back, the number “95” stands for Allagash’s founding year of 1995. While Maine is a reference to the brewery’s home of Portland, Maine.
- And within the number 95, you’ll find both a subtle leaf pattern—found on all Allagash beers—as well as a silhouette of the signature Allagash tap handle, found in thousands of bars and restaurants across the country.
Dropping ahead of the 2026 World Cup tournament, the launch coincides with Umbro’s launch of their kit builder. This allows you to customize past and new Umbro designs to outfit your team.

This jersey serves as the centerpiece of a multi-faceted campaign to bring Allagash to life in the soccer world.
