Tennessee SB 388 / HB 642 – To-go Cups Around Music City Center [S Bill] [H Bill]

What it is: Patrons of the Music City Center, Omni Hotel and Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville could carry drinks in to-go cups around the nearby area, also known as “to-go cup legislation.”

What it means: Right now, anyone who visits the Hall of Fame or attends a convention can’t bring alcoholic drinks back to his hotel room, even though the buildings are connected. With this bill, visitors could travel freely without having to dump or chug their beers before walking to the next-door building and buying new ones.
